About Me

I don't have a lot of recent pictures of myself so this is the best I have, I will try to update when I get a better one. :)

Who I am

First I am a Christian. It has taken a lot of crap in my life for me to get to the point where that is the first and most important priority in my life. I try to live my life every day in a way that people will see Christ and His love through me.

Second I am a mother. I have two beautiful and amazing children that I am so blessed to get to spend every day raising and turning into adults.  I was very unsure about what I wanted to do with my life until I had my daughter and now I know that it's being a mother. Raising my kids is by far the most important thing I will ever do in my life and I feel so blessed to have been entrusted with such a huge responsibility and lets face it, it's just darn fun, too. :)

What I do

My current income source is running a dayhome.  I love having a house full of kids, being busy and getting to facilitate their learning and growing each day. I am full for the 2012 school year, but if you are interested in being on my waiting list please feel free to contact me. :)

Hobbies

My current hobbies, other than the obvious spending time with my kids, I like to clean my house and watch tv. I know I'm boring, but I've made my peace with it. :)

Current things I'm working on

- Trying to focus on God in every situation and realize that He has it all under control no matter how it might seem at the moment

- Trying to live in the big picture and not in the present hardship or stress

- Trying to be more flexible. If you know me or are around me a lot, you know that I really don't like it when my routine is disrupted or things are rescheduled at the last minute and sometimes the best events in life are spur of the moment.

- Trying to go to bed at a reasonable hour every night. I know it sounds silly, but I have a bad habit of staying up way too late (and eating way too much while doing so) and regret it every morning.  You'd think I'd be old enough to learn already, but I'm still working on it.
