Day 2 of Potty Training

I am EXHAUSTED from today. Seriously why did no one tell me that potty training was this tiring? Lucy is doing super well though. We only had one accident all night long! This is what her calendar looked like at the end of the day.

It took her a bit to get the take-off-the-panties-before-peeing concept, but once she got it, it was great! We started the day by putting panties on her doll and "practising" with the doll, she got it after only 2 times showing her. :)

She also had some really good snuggle and play time with Christopher today and of course had to show him the baby with her panties on. :)







They are just so cute together.


We had a wonderful playdate this morning with Elizabeth, but I forgot to take any pictures. :( It rained really hard all afternoon, but the kids didn't seem to mind. In fact they both seemed to quite enjoy watching it. And I remembered to close the sandbox so it is slowly becoming less birdbath and more sandbox again.





And then we finished our day off with oven hot dogs (thank you Pintrest), which were surprisingly good, so good in fact that even Lucy ate some of them.





And now it is 7:45 and Lucy just called for me to go upstairs because she went pee in her potty again. :) So here's to hoping that will continue overnight. And my cookies have just come out of the oven, so I'm going to eat them, watch Rookie Blue and go to bed. :)
