Canada Day 2012 Adventures

Okay, so I'm going to try this again. I didn't really like Tumblr and didn't find it customizable enough so I thought that I would try blogspot. :)

Yesterday was a very eventful day. We went to a wedding, prepared to start potty training Lucy today.  Let's start with the wedding.

It was beautiful. Sheena looked amazing and Rick looked ecstatic. :)  I feel so blessed to have gotten to be a part of their very special day.

Lucy even wanted to be a part of the process.

And Christopher was one handsome little man hanging out with McKenna for most of the ceremony.

Then between the wedding and reception we had a lovely time hanging out with friends. Debbie, Katherine, Evan, Brittany, McKenna, me and the munchkins.  We decorated Lucy's potty calendar and had fun visiting.

Then we were off to the reception! Such good food, great jokes and the cake looked amazing!  Wonderful job Dan!!! Gord MC'd.

Every time the couple would kiss the entire wedding party would hold up signs rating the kiss. It was cute. :)

Christopher had a blast hanging out with Naomi and McKenna and Sandra.  It was so nice, I hardly saw him all evening and got to enjoy all the wonderful food. :)  Lucy enjoyed watching the fish (they had a MASSIVE fish tank and a stool just for little kids).

Then we got to come home and hang out with Brittany's parents. They have been visiting since Thursday and they are such nice people.  It has been so nice getting to know them.  And they have really enjoyed snuggling with Christopher!

So that was our busy day!  Next post will be on how our first day of potty training went. So far it's 8:47am and Lucy is not up yet, which is fantastic because she needs the sleep. :)
